Itinerary
Day 1
Anchorage arrival
- Pick up at airport and transsfer to hotel.
- Check in hotel and rest.
- Free explore to the Alaska’s largest city and also its biggest transportation hub, Anchorage, it’s a must-see city due to its culture, history, and amazing scenic views.
- Overnight in Anchorage.
Day 2
Matanuska Glacier Hiking Tour (B)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Departure from the hotel, drive about 2.5 hours to the Matanuska Glacier is the source of the Matanuska River and the largest glacier in the United States
- The Matanuska Glacier hiking allows you to explore blue-and-white glaciers, impressive ice sheets and deep crevasses for spectacular scenery you’ll never forget.
All equipment and safety equipment will be provided for this tour. - Back to the Anchorage Hotel.
- Overnight in Anhorage.
Day 3
Anchorage - Fairbanks - Aurora Viewing (B)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Depart from the hotel and take the shuttle bus to Anchorage Train Station, take the Aurora Train to the “Aurora capital” – Fairbanks. It is the second largest city in Alaska, the northernmost city in Alaska and the best place to see the aurora.
- About 12 hours by train (Anchorage – Fairbanks 8:30-20:00), upon arrival, take the shuttle to the hotel.
- 21:50, Departure from hotel lobby to aurora viewing activity center. You can relax in the cabin waiting for the northern light with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a variety of snacks. Once the Aurora is out, you can enjoy this magical phenomenon right from inside the cabin or by an outdoor spacious viewing area.
- 2:00 am back to the downtown hotel.
- Overnight in Fairbanks.
Day 4
Chena Hot Springs Resort - Aurora Viewing (B)
- Breakfast at hotel
- 10:50, Departure from the hotel and follow your guide to Chena Hot Spring Resort, relax in the outdoor natural hot springs, enjoy the incredible experience while surroundings are covered by ice and snow.
- Going to visit the Aurora Ice Museum (admission is not included).
- At 17:00, leaving from the resort and heading back to the hotel.
- 21:50 Depart from the hotel and our experienced tour guide will take you to the wilderness, away from the light pollution of the urban area to chase the trail of the Aurora.
- 2:00 AM back to the hotel.
Day 5
Borealis Basecamp (B)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Take Borealis Basecamp shuttle to the campsite on 9:15/14:30.
- After arriving at the camp, you can store your luggage at the front desk. The check-in time is after 16:00.
- Today you will enjoy a full day of freedom. Borealis Basecamp provides a variety of winter activities, please see the additional services: snowmobile etc.
(If the dog sledding experience cannot take place due to insufficient snowfall, it will be replaced with a dog cart experience with no refund of the price difference)
Day 6
Free day - Optional Itinerary (Arctic Circle Adventure/Snow Activities) (B)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Today you can enjoy your free day or participate in our carefully prepared winter snow activities at your own expense:

Confirmation
– Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 36 hours of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status. Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the status of your booking.
Redemption
– You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.
Terms & Condition
– All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking, please do not book the airline tickets until your received the confirmation.
– Cancellation and Refund policy (Notification day and departure day are not counted):
+ All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within one business day after purchase, customers will be fully refunded if the orders cannot be confirmed.
+ Cancellations received 14 or more days prior to departure – 50% of total purchase amount.
+ Cancellations received within 14 days of departure will incur a penalty of 100% per person.
– Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
– The refund amount will be credited directly to your AHL Tours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
– Prices may vary subject to availability/season/weekend/holiday.
– We reserve right to cancel a schedule to fully refund affected customers although we will make every effort to maintain the regular operation.
