Overview

  • Buenos Aires has been called the “Paris of South America” for decades, beneath the neoclassical architecture, artful pastries, and sprawling green spaces is the bleeding heart of the city—a city where the soccer games are to be wept over, the whip-quick moves of tango never miss a beat, and the sounds of sizzling asado and flowing Malbec carry late into the night.
  • Abutting Lago Argentino in Argentine Patagonia’s deep south, the small town of El Calafate is the gateway to Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. The park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1981. It contains 47 major glaciers. In fact, it’s the largest icecap outside of Antarctica and Greenland, covering over 30% of the park’s surface.
  • At the end of the road in Argentina, Puerto Iguazú sits at the confluence of the Ríos Paraná and Iguazú and looks across to Brazil and Paraguay. One of the 7 Natural World Wonder since 2011, the Iguazu Falls National Park is a unique natural universe. Full of life, abundant vegetation and more than 250 waterfalls, among them the Devil’s Throat, falling more than 82 meters high; it is the ideal place to connect with nature.
